Who Is Ella Charity
Ella Charity is a newly established
501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization, founded in late 2024. While our
official establishment is recent, our roots run deep, with over a decade of
experience delivering impactful training programs in our community. Now, as a
formalized organization, we are committed to expanding our reach and deepening
our impact.
Ella Charity was founded in honor of Ella Williams, the late grandmother
of our Founder. A trailblazer in her own right, Ella Williams introduced the
Founder to entrepreneurship in the 1980s and instilled enduring values of
compassion, service, and resilience. Inspired by her legacy, Ella Charity
operates on the belief that every individual holds inherent value and that
collective support is essential for thriving in an interconnected world. Our
mission is to empower individuals to transform their lives and, in turn, they
can pay it forward, creating a ripple effect of positive change.
Through our programs, we aim to equip
the next generation with essential life skills that foster responsibility,
compassion, and readiness to tackle real-world challenges. Ella Williams’
legacy lives on through our work, as we strive to uphold the morals and values
she embodied while preparing individuals to lead with confidence and care.
Our Vision:
We envision a world where young people are empowered to confidently navigate
emergencies, care for others, and build a foundation of leadership and
responsibility. By offering specialized training programs, we aim to cultivate
a culture of preparedness and service across all age groups, ensuring that
communities are resilient and compassionate.
Our Slogan:
"Giving means just as much to the giver as the receiver," highlights
the profound impact of generosity. It emphasizes that the act of giving is a
two-way exchange, enriching both the giver and the recipient. For the giver, it
fosters a sense of purpose, connection, and fulfillment, while the receiver
benefits from the kindness and support. This mutual exchange creates a cycle of
positivity, reminding us that generosity is not just an act of charity, but a
shared experience that uplifts everyone involved.
Our Programs:
CarePro Kids (Ages 6-11):
This program introduces children to age-appropriate CPR, First Aid, and
Emergency Readiness skills. Through interactive lessons and hands-on
activities, participants gain the confidence and knowledge needed to
respond effectively to basic emergencies.
Next Level Heart (Ages 13-22,
Flexible Age Range):
Designed for high school and college students, this advanced program
focuses on EKG interpretation and heart health education. Participants
acquire valuable skills that can inspire interest in healthcare careers
while deepening their understanding of cardiovascular health.
Youngsters Babysitting Academy
Certification Curriculum (Ages 12-22):
This comprehensive certification program prepares young individuals to
become responsible, certified babysitters. Training covers essential
childcare techniques, safety measures, and emergency response skills,
making it ideal for college students seeking part-time work or young
adults entering the childcare field.
New Parents CPR, First Aid, and
Emergency Readiness Training (All Ages):
Tailored for new and expecting parents, this program provides critical
training in CPR, First Aid, and emergency preparedness. Participants learn
how to confidently care for their infants and handle unforeseen
emergencies.
Job Readiness Program (All Ages):
Our comprehensive Job Readiness Program equips participants with the
skills, tools, and confidence needed to excel in today’s competitive job
market. Key components include:
Feeding the Homeless Initiative:
At Ella Charity, we believe in serving the community beyond training
programs. Our Feeding the Homeless initiative provides nutritious meals,
hygiene kits, and support services to individuals experiencing
homelessness. Through volunteer efforts and community partnerships, we
strive to offer hope, dignity, and assistance to those in need.
Our Founder:
The Founder and President of Ella Charity brings over 14 years of experience as
a Training Site Coordinator for the American Heart Association. With a deep
passion for education and community service, she has dedicated her career to
training individuals in life-saving techniques and fostering a culture of
preparedness. Her vision for Ella Charity is rooted in the belief that every
individual has the potential to be a beacon of hope and safety in their
community.
Why We Do What We Do:
At Ella Charity, we believe that equipping individuals with essential
life-saving skills creates a ripple effect of confidence and compassion. By
empowering children, teens, and adults to respond to emergencies and care for
others, we build stronger, more resilient communities. Our work is driven by
the conviction that every person, regardless of age, has the potential to make
a meaningful difference.
